Brewery Rigging CoBrewery Rigging

FAQ

Rigging questions, answered.

General

▸Where is Brewery Rigging based and where do you work?

We are based in Indianapolis, Indiana and our crews travel nationwide. Most jobs are brewery, distillery and beverage facilities, and we also move jacketed stainless and process equipment for other industries.

▸What does full rigging service include?

Disconnect and decommission, rig out of the building, load, transport through our freight partner, unload and set in place at the destination — one coordinated, turnkey job. Rigging-only or freight-only is fine too.

▸How are you related to Brewhouse.beer?

Brewhouse.beer is our sister company and the leading used brewery equipment dealer and liquidation specialist in the United States. Brewery Rigging handles the onsite work for its closures and sales, and also works directly for auction buyers, breweries and landlords.

▸How fast do you respond?

We respond quickly — often within the hour during business hours. Call or text (317) 300-6234 if your removal deadline is close.

Auction Rigging

▸Can you handle every buyer at one auction?

Yes. Auction houses often bring us in as the single rigging crew for the sale so buyers are not competing for forklifts and dock time. We publish the onsite days and each buyer books their load.

▸What does auction rigging cost?

We quote per item from a standard rate schedule — a 10 bbl fermenter or a 15 bbl brewhouse has a set decommission-and-load price — and put it in writing before you bid. Non-conforming or complex arrangements (cranes, roof work, wall removal) may incur additional expenses, and we tell you before we start.

▸Can you deliver it to my brewery too?

Yes. Full rigging service covers rig-out at the auction site, transport through our freight partner, and unloading and setting in place at your facility — one quote, one point of contact.

▸What if I miss the auction removal deadline?

Tell us the deadline when you ask for a quote. We schedule against it, and if the auction house needs the building cleared we work with them directly.

Brewery Relocation

▸Can you move a brewhouse in one day?

A small brewhouse and a handful of tanks often load in a day; larger systems take longer. We quote the crew-days up front so you can plan downtime.

▸Is this a turnkey move?

Yes. Full rigging service on both ends plus transport through our freight partner — we coordinate the whole move so you deal with one company. Tell us on the quote form if you also need help lining up process hookups.

▸What about the equipment we are not taking?

Brewhouse.beer, our sister company, buys used brewery equipment outright or sells it on consignment, and can run the sale while we handle the move.

▸Do you handle freight?

Yes. We work with a freight partner for a turnkey solution — rigging and transport quoted together, scheduled together. You can also bring your own carrier and we load it.

Loading & Placement

▸Do you only work with Brewhouse.beer purchases?

No. We load and unload equipment you bought anywhere — auctions, other dealers, private sales. Brewhouse.beer is our sister company and uses our crews, but the rigging crew works for any buyer.

▸What does "placement" include?

Setting the equipment where you want it on the floor, level and positioned, ready for your hookups. Tell us on the quote form if you need anything beyond that and we will scope it.

▸Can you unload without a dock?

Usually yes. Most brewery buildings have no dock; we work off the truck with a forklift or a liftgate carrier depending on the piece. Tell us about the site when you ask for a quote.

▸How do I know the rigging price before I bid?

Send us the lot list before the auction closes. We quote each piece in writing — usually same day — so you can add rigging to your bid math.

Landlord Cleanouts

▸Can the equipment pay for the cleanout?

Often. Used brewery equipment has resale value, and Brewhouse.beer sells it nationally. Where the equipment is worth more than the removal, you net cash; where it is not, you at least offset the cost.

▸Who owns abandoned brewery equipment?

That depends on your lease, state law and any UCC liens on the equipment. We do not give legal advice — we ask you to confirm with counsel that you have the right to sell or remove before we schedule, and we document everything.

▸How fast can you clear a space?

A straight removal is usually scheduled within weeks. A sale-based cleanout takes longer but returns money; we can also do a hybrid where the high-value pieces sell and the rest is removed by a hard date.

▸Do you handle breweries outside Indiana?

Yes. Our crews travel nationwide and the equipment sells nationally.
